As long as BYU wins out, we need no help from anyone else so any "rooting" would
be based on what's best for BYU's seeding and what's best for the Big 12.
As such, I would argue that cheering for SMU and Kansas St. to keep on winning is good for BYU because those are our 2 biggest wins at the moment. If we can get to the end of the regular season and those 2 teams are in the 15 and their only losses are to BYU, that will be a huge boost to the committee - and if we are lucky will push us out of that 4 seed and up to #3 (if not #2).
