Do you think the CFP will value A&M or Indiana over BYU?
A&M would be 8-1, coming off a road win over a decent South Carolina team, with a better “best win” than BYU’s (LSU > Kansas State). Their one loss was to a quality Notre Dame team on the first game of the season. Also wins over Missouri and Florida.
We are probably safe from Indiana and Clemson. Neither team has a win over a ranked team (whether it was at the time or currently). Unless the Committee is going to blindly give them a boost because they’re a Big Ten team or because of recent years’ success.
It’s the same story with Notre Dame. Are we THAT confident that BYU will be ranked higher than the Irish?
