I’ve thought a lot lately about all of our predictions for BYU football..
before the season started. Both by CB’ers on here (including myself), and by regional and national pundits. And here’s my conclusion:

No one really has any idea how good or bad a team is gonna be year to year.

BYU is not the first to shock the college football world and won’t be the last. Just see TCU only two seasons prior. Not at all on anyone’s radar.

I share this not to bash on anyone, but because I have to laugh at myself and many of us on here who think we might know better because we played, we coached, or because we somehow uncovered some gem of insight that gives us a leg up to know better.

Sure teams with more 5 star players may be more likely to win than teams with none. But man, I’m so thankful for this magical season on many many levels. One of which is the simple fact I’ve learned that we have no idea what’s gonna happen next. And I love that!
