vs KSU because we beat them head-to-head
vs ISU because we didn’t play head-to-head, so the next tiebreaker is record vs the best common opponent(s), which is KSU. In this scenario, ISU loses to KSU, while we beat them.
(Some people are saying that this second tiebreaker applies to record vs the second-best common opponent, rather than the best common opponent, which makes little sense and is clearly not the spirit or intent of the rule. This is what is causing the confusion).
