You can’t take away what Whit has done at Utah. There’s not a BYU fan that wasn’t jealous of where the Utes were just a few years ago.

But something is amiss right now. They are in a tough spot.

- Whitt is retiring soon, he was the draw

- UU athletics is financially in the red despite all the P12 money

- the P5 recruiting advantage is over for Utah

- BYU is on the rise and has you g, effective coaches 

Utah is going to hav to pull a rabbit out of their hat. Scalley has been named as heir apparent but it may not be working. 

I wonder what's up with the team right now. They are a mess internally. A Whitt turned over duties to other coches as he's on his way out? Their fall is inexplicable.

Don't get me wrong. Karma is a beautiful thing. Utah and many toxic fans have been exposed and are no showing their true colors, but I don't think we know 20% of what's going on. 

I've seen it in organizations when leadership doesn't hold a consistent standard to the stakeholders.  Something isn't right. 

Its a glorious time to be a BYU fan.
