It’s not too far off what Retzlaff has gotten in half a game. If we nitpick Retzlaff’s game yesterday and take away his big pass to Roberts, he only threw for about 160 yards.
I think the big difference is that BYU has a very balanced offensive game that moves the ball both on the ground and through the air. And when we NEED to make throws, Retzlaff has proven that we can become one-dimensional and rely on him to play hero ball.
Utah can’t move the ball consistently on offense in any phase of the game and essentially hoping for constant hero ball from their QB position.
