I have said this before on the board but I’ll say it again.

As someone who lives on the east coast, I’ve NEVER talked about the church with non-LDS friends more than I did when Jimmermania was happening.

Why?

Because friends asked me a lot of questions about BYU which lead to conversations about our faith, beliefs, values, etc. Several of these friends ended up coming to church to check it out for themselves and had great, faith promoting experiences.

This is a no brainer for many reasons that are more important than winning.
