to sing the fight song on both ends of the field.  It was great to be there today.  BYU fans really tempered the UCF home-field advantage.  Great day, fun game, and BYU got to celebrate a third-quarter score with a rocket launch.  (Who will forget that?)  We were at the 2014 game that BYU lost in OT.  Didn't enjoy that as much (haha).  Met up with some CB friends at the tailgate and stadium today - which was really fun.  Great to be 8-0.  Great to celebrate the win with a couple of extra days in Orlando.

(By the way, some UCF fans got so frustrated when BYU was up 31-10 that they started cheering for BYU (chanting "Go Cougars!" and "BYU").  We sat by a couple from Jacksonville, FL.  The wife was actually in a Jacksonville ward where I served back in 1980-81.  So cool.  And, I got to hang out with SwamCougar - and we recently learned that I served in his Lake City ward back in the spring of 1980.  (We don't remember each other.  I was only there for two months, but I do remember people from the ward he has known for many years.  Pretty cool.)  The world is small within the church - even smaller within Cougar Nation.

(Drive safe on the way back to Lake City, SwampCougar.  And CL Cougar, I wish I had your BYU bucket hat for the first half of the game today, but it's all good.)

Oh, and we walked from the tailgate to and from the game.  About 1.2 miles.  Easy.  Actually, the walk back with friends after a win was a good time.
