There's a bias towards the SEC and Big10 teams
The argument is even though those teams lose that's because the quality of competition is next level so they get a break.

Teams in the SEC and Big10 get extra chances because of historic performance. And not because of current season performance. Which is why you have many undefeated teams ranked behind them.

The problem with that is that champions don't have to be the best team. A champion sometimes overcomes great odds and wins by luck. So the notion of giving the best teams more chances seems to go against the fair play of sports.

In a way realignment has always been about grather the haves and pitting them against the have nots. Some say that is destroying the sport.

My opinion is that we should not care about how good or deserving a team is. It should be based on wins first then strength of schedule. Bigger conferences should not have an incentive to destroy smaller conferences and get more of there teams into the post season.
