As written, it looks like the KSU win will not count for us in a tiebreaker with ISU (assuming KSU likely wins the initial 3-way due to SOS). It states:

“Win percentage against the next highest placed common opponent in the standings (based on the record in all games played within the Conference), proceeding through the standings. When arriving at another group of tied teams while comparing records, use each team’s win percentage against the collective tied teams as a group (prior to that group’s own tie-breaking procedure) rather than the performance against individual tied teams.”

The question is whether “next highest placed common opponent” proceeding through the standings would include Kansas St or not, given the “next” opponent might be the next one under ISU and BYU in the standings.

It seems silly that it wouldn’t include KSU as a next common opponent, so it could be an unintentional loophole that the Big 12 could choose to close.
