Hmm, haven't watched closely enough to notice if they look better. I can tell
you that when I was in it in 2006, they let anybody in and didn't focus a ton on being awesome at marching - they just wanted numbers and volume.
I made the marching band with exactly 0 years of marching experience, it's people like me that probably made them awful haha. Had a blast though!
