The best one I've gotten is a Bosch. 20 years ago they were not preferred in the high end homes. Folks wanted GE & Whirlpool. But the Bosch I settled on about 8 ago is super quiet and just keeps on going. I also noticed they were getting selected in my high end construction projects.

I've also had a Viking dishwasher - stay away...not good.
