On that last drive, Jake overthrew JoJo and didn’t know Lassiter was making that cut to the inside. That ball should’ve been picked or at best, incomplete. (Maybe this is already common knowledge and it’s just that nobody wants to actually discuss it)

I’ve heard interviews with Darius and he says that he wasn’t suppose to run that route to the inside and just this morning on 1280 he said he saw green grass and went to the open spot and when he looked the ball was already in the air and that Jake must’ve read his mind.

I think it was Jake that said the play was called for JoJo to get the ball and on replay angles that are from the pocket and from Jake’s perspective it looks like he throws it before Lassiter cuts.

I think Jake deserves all the praise that he is getting and I’m not being critical of him, but I don’t believe that play went down as he was intending and if he throws a pick instead, I wonder what the reaction would be. Especially with all the doubters early in the year.

I’m just going to choose to believe that this may actually be a destined magical season in the making and that it was meant to be.
