he has the advantage of having the 4 best receivers, OL, and QB in the state against inferior competition. And at the end of the day his offense is pretty basic. He also doesn't use multiple formations - it's basically doubles in the middle of the field. Trips to the field if on a hash.
I'm not saying he isn't a great coach - he definitely is one of the best in Utah to ever do it. But scheming up against high level college/ex NFL DC's that have a talent advantage over you is a whole different level.
