Normally, when the DE crashes in, the LB scrapes out to cover contain. Between Batty and Glasker on the play you
describe, one of them was supposed to stay out go outside when the other went inside.
Someone clearly screwed up there. My point is that it might have been Batty, or it might have been Glasker, and that we can't tell who was wrong just from watching the play. We would need to know the assignments on that play.
But everyone on the defense (including the coaches) surely knows who it was. 🙂
