I think it will happen sometimes. Let's say the championship game loser
was ranked around 15th, and the winner was unranked
Then all it would take would two G5 champs who are ranked ahead of whatever the championship game winner's rank ends up being (after beating #15, they could go from unranked to #22 or so)
