I'm hoping for Nebraska type of situation, going from a HOF coach and contending for a NC most years to what they've
Become since then.
Frank Solich wasn't bad, but he was no Tom Osborne. Each coach thereafter struggled more and more to get quality athletes to live in boring Nebraska. The original elite coach (Tom Osborne) made all the difference. After that, the destination loomed large by comparison.
I hope the same happens to Alabama.
