So during the end of the game they raised the net in the North End Zone during our last drive. Fans got hot. To get those seats we have to be Cougar Club & Season Ticket holders. And now they block our view by raising the net. So I spend a lot of money traveling up to home games from Arizona. Games are a blast & worth the effort to attend.

I don't know anybody at BYU, just an avid BYU fan. So I made 2 calls. One to BYU Ticket Office They gave me a number to call so I called and left a voicemail. I wasn't satisfied with that so I called the Cougar Club number. They promised to have someone call me back.

Within an hour I received call. A great conversation with a representative of the Event Management team. She explained the BYU Chief of Police made the call. Apparently the ROC made a surge & he made the call. (Now I don't believe this because OK State had just scored the go ahead touchdown NO ONE from BYU was going to rush the field for a LOSS.)

Friday night people in the North side got visibly angry. For the first time I witnessed some"poor" behavior at LES. Bottle throwing hand warmer throwing. The North end is not going to jump the barrier en masse we are too old for that unlike the ROC. But they created a problem situation where there didn't need to be one.

Apparently with the BIG XII has some safety requirements to protect the visiting team. I did see some ugliness posted from the ASU fans toward the pukes on Saturday night and we don't want that.

We talked through a number of options only slightly raising the net, delaying raising the net, etc.

I have to give BYU props they called me back, had a very interactive call where I felt they listened to my grievances, treated me like a valuable customer I felt they would be discussing other alternatives.

While I don't know what the final solution is going to be. I hope they find an alternative.
