Dodgers have already significantly overachieved...
Their starting pitching is decimated by injuries, which has consistently put the relieving corps in tough situations. Somehow, through strong offense and overall impressing pitching by the relievers, LA has survived both SD and the Mets.

Frankly, I was expecting the Padres in the first round. And I was expecting the Mets to continue their post-season run against the Dodgers.

So bottom line, given all of the injuries, the Dodgers are very fortunate to be going to the World Series. I definitely see the Yankees as the favorites, but I kind of feel like the Dodgers are now playing with house money, since no one expected them to be where they are because of all their injuries.

I'd be pretty confident if they had 2 or 3 of their starters who are on the IL, but they're going to have to do it again with smoke, magic, and mirrors.
