That’s the difference between Boise State and BYU today. I wonder it is a reasonable marker for where BYU has been. Imagine if BYU were still independent, with 0 losses even, I’m thinking they’d be ranked about where BSU is.

I hate the way the SEC and BiG have bought out the polls, but reality is it could be worse (see ACC). It seems as though BYU and Iowa State are being valued higher than a Mountain West or Independent team (not named Notre Dame) would be.

On balance I’m happy, but whichever team represents the big 12 in the CFP, I sure hope they win!
