Jake had zero scholarship offers and played JUCO before he came to BYU. Jake isn't perfect but you can tell he plays with grit. He will likely play like this for the rest of his life. He has a chip on his shoulder and wants to prove something. Yes, he threw interceptions last night and he should know at this point to throw it out of bounds instead of forcing something. But last night's game-winning TD is a classic Jake play and I'm here for it. This is why A-Rod and Kalani brought him. This is why he's playing instead of Bohanon. Jake, you are awesome. Keep playing you. It's BYU against the world. Every week is a battle and BYU must go in every game thinking they're the underdog. And with Jake, we will always play like the underdog.
