It’s a bowl on that side and it feels like the fans might be closer to the field than BYU fans are.

But the south side of Utah isn’t nearly as loud. Smaller stands over there, that’s where the visiting fans sit, etc.

I’ve been to lots of games in both stadia. My guess is BYU is louder overall, but that north side at Utah probably hits a louder peak.
