K-Mart also opened the door for competitors by bullying their vendors. When
the Walmarts of the world came along, many of K-Mart's suppliers gave the others preferential treatment.
One of the policies that K-Mart pushed on their suppliers was Net 6 months to pay.
I'm actually surprised to hear there were still some around.
