Were him just trying to keep the place going longer than they needed to be.
That’s pent up frustration sitting on the sidelines and trying to force plays.
It’s too bad. The fact that he played the last game with a high ankle sprain is also sad. Because he probably felt like he needed to be there for the fans and his teammates, and refused to accept that he got hurt pretty bad early in the game.
At the same time, at 4-2 with a freshman quarterback, jury is still out on the year.
Wilson looks great to me in the way he makes reads, his arm strength and pocket presence.
This could very well turn out to be similar to Tyler Huntley’s freshman year. 7-6, but set up for two great years to follow.
Or, it could be similar to last year with an 8-4 type ending. I think that would be fantastic for what looks to be a rebuild year.
