I'm not sure I want them to just do away with it. Maybe more effective would be for them to come up with a new play out of the double pass formation that throws people off. Something like having Martin go deep like on the pass in the game, but then also having Retzlaf or a TE leak down field 5-10 yards to catch a shorter pass and pick up some yards. Just something that gives teams something to think about so they don't just run to cover the one receiver on the play.
