No, preferences about a logo. The relative design merits of the various freshman
hat logos are uninteresting to me, because I think the whole genre is meh.
I'm sure it would be really nice for you if I cared about having an argument where your design expertise was relevant, and in which your repeated use of a latin phrase with widely used English translations was impressive, but alas, I do not.

They are incredibly different to my eye. Not subtle at all. Similar in that they both have a hat and that’s about it.
