Almost everyone has floaters of some kind. It's pretty common.

Many times people are born with them.

The ones you have now are probably the "big one" that happens over time.

I talk to patients about it everyday. They should diminish over time as they shrink or float to a different part of your eye.

I usually tell people the trick is to not focus on it too much and your brain will literally learn to ignore it.

In extreme cases surgery is optional or sometimes necessary.
