The clear implication was that our rivals are not humble or gracious in victory. It took a few years for him to deliver on that promise, but I admire the "hungry and humble" mantra - he lives it.
At the CC luncheon Kalani talked about how much he loves McDonalds. That if you offered him a Big Mac, even after a huge Thanksgiving meal, he would still gladly eat it. He likened it to the team: after you string together some wins, it's completely natural for that hunger to diminish.
