My guess is that it’s similar to Kedon Slovis’s injury last year.
Could Slovis/Rising play through the injury, at least to some extent? Yes.
Is it better for the program to just move on? Yes.
Should we call it a “season-ending” injury for PR reasons and help the player save face? Yes.
