Best scenario involves undefeated Iowa St but it means lower playoff odds for us
In an ideal world we are undefeated and play undefeated Iowa St. But if we end up with 1 or 2 losses, our odds of making the CCG are higher if Iowa St loses to UCF.
IOW, if Iowa st loses to UCF, our playoff odds go up slightly, but the best case scenario for us and the Big 12 is no longer available.
That’s why it’s a tough call.
