My doc initiated the conversation and put me on it almost immediately. I had

a few follow up visits to make sure I was dealing with it ok and now I just get tested annually as part of my physical. Tell your doc that you want it or get a new doc.

Giving myself the injection once a week is no big deal. I don't even think twice about it or have any hesitation. Quick and easy shot in the thigh.
