It’s clearly not a special rivalry to you.
I’d rather go 11-1 and lose to Coastal Carolina than go 11-1 and lose to Utah, regardless of what championship or playoff outcome we may have.
Utah State isn’t a rival. Wyoming isn’t a rival. Utah is our rival. That’s it.
To adopt a saying from another school we should approach most seasons as, “Go Cougs, beat Utah”
