Bernard is literally the only one who is healthy and can play at a high level. They brought in a transfer who looked really promising and he got hurt in the spring or summer for the year. The number 2 RB has appeared to have been hurt all year and didn’t play tonight. The guy who was expected to play 2nd or 3rd string has been MIA all season and the teams not explaining why (maybe academic issues?).

If Bernard went down they’d be in bad, bad shape. It’s already bad enough that they haven’t had consistently good QB play except for in a few quarters early in the season.
