Just re-watched the Baylor game our biggest concern on the offense side of the Baylor game is the lack of a run game.
They had a stat at around the 3:00 min mark in the 3rd where it showed BYU had run an even 25 Passing and 25 Rushing plays.
The stats at that point for each were:
Rushing 129yds
Passing 203yds
We finished with 149 rushing yards but 53 of those were from Retzlaff and another 22 yards from the fake punk. So.. if you take out Retzlaff's rushing and the fake punt BYU RBs rushed for 74 yards on 29 attempts which doesn't seem that great.
Seems to me that Baylor figured out our lack of run game which made it much more difficult for Retzlaff in the 2nd half.
Baylor didn't have much of a run game either but their QB was able to find his receivers a lot better than Retzlaff was able to in the 2nd half.
Are we getting any of our missing RBs this week?
