An 11-1 big12 team that loses a close CCG would probably make it, 11-1 p5 teams
Have been ranked #7 or better in every CFP ranking.
And I don't see a top 7 team dropping 4-5+ spots for losing their CCG in a close game.
Only would happen if there are just too many 1 loss teams or multiple 10-2 teams that have very strong resumes
