And yet in saying that — as a program that could probably pay it — we'd be saying we're not comfortable w being #1.
And maybe you're right — IF the stakes get that high — maybe we would be uncomfortable paying top dollar for the best players.
And if it comes to that — I can support our program.
If we were to pony that up, though — I think I'm willing to roll with that as a fan, also. (And I say this as a fan who NEVER could've seen our program going there 7 short months ago. But things have definitely changed since then.)
