As a 6'9 ball handler & facilitator, Demin represents the rarer player. But Catchings is the better athlete & shooter.
He also has a lot more filling out to do, I think. And maybe even an extra inch or two to grow.
Both are young enough, their games could both grow a lot in the next six months. I'm assuming Demin would be our only star player among the newcomers, but after watching Catchings & Moskavic tonight — I'm not so sure stardom isn't wide enough to include one of them too this season.
