and turn it down before it went too far. I’m sure there were parts that appealed to him even though he loves BYU. BYU thought he was legitimately interested, kind of like asking a hot upperclassman girl to dance when you are a freshman and she says yes to be nice so you don’t feel bad. He made the right choice, one that a higher power/universe was telling him to make.
