Hot take: I am not sure any of those older QBs would be able to come in and make a difference. The game has changed so
much since they were playing at BYU.
3 step drops, 5 step drops, dropping straight back, throwing off the back foot (although that seems to reemerged), more athletic DBs, more unique and creative coverages, etc. etc. etc.
I don't think Detmer, McMahon, Young would be any better than what we've got right now.
Give me a RB or Collie.
