Not a fatal mistake. We'll love KY's leadership and the program just as much but we feel ripped off. Assume this choice reflects a misunderstanding of the nature of the institution and the nature of the constituencies. Obviously coaches are doing well with all the big and important people. The thousands here you haven't met matter a lot also, sometimes more. University officials find out when they are on the block, that student, faculty, alumni, and parent support can rally around them and save them in more troubling times.

Anyway, I can drive there to watch, many I know and care about cannot attend.

I do believe if Coach Young understood the bigger university picture better, he would allow the game televised.
