Kick-out threes after rebounds tend to be one of the highest percentage.
I think obviously if there is an easy open put-back he would probably want them to take that. But three point shooters tend to be much more available and open after offensive rebounds and they are also made at a higher percentage.

Part of my personal theory on one reason why is that a huge percentage of shots in shooting workouts are being passed to the shooter from the paint either from someone rebounding for them or now days a machine spitting it back out to them. So they've seen thousands of reps of the ball coming to them from that direction.
