I don't get the comparisons to Dickey's and other chain places like that.
I know I'm no expert, but I've been to Hard 8 once in Coppell and it was meat that was smoked and/or cooked over open flame. The brisket and ribs I got were good, not great. The grilled chicken my wife got was good. My son got a beef rib that I tried that was awesome. It wasn't the best BBQ I've had, but it was miles better than Dickey's and a bunch of other places you could go get BBQ.
The setting was cool.
Again, having only been once, I don't get the hate it gets here.
