opposite SMU's future NFL DL Elijah Roberts, who lead the team in sacks last year, with 9.5. In fact, SMU was second in the country in sacks with 48, and many of those DL and LB with sacks last year having returned this year. I think only one, a player with 5 sacks last year, is now playing in the NFL. But that SMU "D" was, and probably is legit, yet BYU held their own with only one sack allowed, and Etienne completely shut out Elijah Roberts.

So, even though BYU only scored 18 pts (at SMU though), it was a solid effort from the Oline, and particularly Etienne's best game as a cougar, against some really good and athletic pass rushers for SMU.
