Imagine you’re an aspiring pro golfer. You travel to Utah with hopes of Monday qualifying into the PGA Black Desert
Event because there’s a lot of spots and a weak pga field.
You play in the prequalifier to make the Monday qualifier. You shoot -2 under par, 70, at Sand Hollow from the tips, and you don’t even qualify to play in the Monday qualifier to try to qualify for the actual event. (There’s two more pre qualifiers.)
lol. How dejecting. Pro golf is brutal. I always laugh when a middling golfer tells me they’re going to play pro.
