Will eligibility limits go the way of rules against paying players?
This just occurred to me. There’s essentially no limit to how long someone can stay in college. How is the rule against letting players play after a certain number of years more legally defensible than the rules against players getting paid or making NIL deals? Maybe I’m just out in left field, but I wonder if this rule will be challenged eventually.

It would be a big change if we started to see players stick around for longer in college if they’re making money and don’t think they would make it in the pros.
