We get word that my truck has a flat tire.
Apparently I haven’t done my duty as a father because oldest son has no idea how to replace with the spare tire. Apparently doesn’t even know how to look it up (according to HCBW). I mean, the gosh darn manual is loaded into the UI of the vehicle so he could literally look it up on the vehicle’s screen. So, bad on me i guess for raising, that’s about to get his drivers permit, who would be clueless if he ever got a flat tire. My bad!
HCBW had the car towed to the dealership 🤷♂️
I asked her, “why not just put the spare on!” Apparently the SIL isn’t comfortable driving with the spare, even though the spare is a brand new version of the tire that has a flat.
Why does this sort of thing never happen when I am around?!?
Oh, and our second car is a Honda odyssey with all sorts of electrical problems that may have a dead battery any day now!
But, my bad for raising a nearly permitted driver that apparently would be clueless when it comes to figuring out what to do if he ever got a flat tire.
And I’m told the flat is a result of a gash in the sidewall. The car was parked when it was discovered.
