I think SMU and Kansas State may both end up with 8+ wins and both have a decent chance of making the playoff.

Demolishing Kansas State was awesome.

But SMU is looking more and more like a good to great team, especially at home. It will be interesting to see how SMU does in October playing at Louisville, at Duke, and at Stanford (and no home games).
