No team is the clear alpha right now and I doubt the winner will be undefeated either. Oklahoma State may have played itself out of contention, but between KSU, AZ, BYU, Iowa St, Utah, and even CO it could be anyone's to take.

The conference is not getting much respect either, nationally. If two team can step up and both end with a single loss (or undefeated), then we might see 2 teams in the playoff, but I don't imagine we'll see 3.
