I know it's funny to make it seem like pointing out areas of weakness means
you're a miserable football fan that can't enjoy nice things and always looking to nitpick. Well done to those of you who took the opportunity.

I am having a blast this season! I refused to drink the blue kool-aid this year like I have nearly my whole life heading into September. And the Cougs have pleasantly surprised. It's been so much fun to watch. I'm not miserable nor sad nor grumpy. I don't understand why pointing out a glaring weakness that has been a strength at BYU since Clay Brown is a bad thing. I love that we're 5-0. I would like to be 6-0 and 7-0, etc.

Our 3rd down conversion percentage this season is 24%. That ranks 129 out of 134 teams. TEs have historically been a huge part of BYU's 3rd down conversion abilities.

One can simultaneously love BYU and what's been happening this season and yet also be a little concerned that it won't be sustainable if we don't utilize some of our pieces better. We have capable bodies at TE. I really hope we figure out how to use them better.
