I’m not sure if Bariloche (which is really beautiful) is in that mission, or in the Bahia Blanca or Neuquén mission, but I think Esquel and some of the other Andean towns are in the mission. Also Ushuaia in the far south. The Peninsula Valdés near Puerto Madryn on the coast is a cool national park with tons of wildlife, a sort of Argentine Galapagos (and I think it’s in that mission, but it might be in Neuquén). There are some awesome national parks and glaciers in the Andes, especially Perito Moreno.
The winters in that part of Patagonia are cold, but more windy than snowy, except in the mountains and far South. There aren’t many big cities in the area; Comodoro Rivadavia is the largest one, and it isn’t very big.
